Welcome to the Ultrafast Dynamics in Nanoscale Systems group website!

The goal of our group is to understand and exploit physical phenomena that take place at short timescales and small length scales. Check out the latest news and research highlights here.

We are located at Eindhoven University of Technology in Eindhoven (TU/e), the Netherlands, and at the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2), in Bellaterra (Barcelona), Spain.

At TU/e, the PI group Ultrafast Dynamics in Nanoscale Systems was established in June 2022 and our lab was inaugurated in October 2023. We belong to the capacity group Advanced Nanomaterials and Devices of the Applied Physics department and are associated with the Eindhoven Hendrik Casimir Institute, the Center for Quantum Materials and Technology and the Center for Terahertz Science and Technology.

At ICN2, the Ultrafast Dynamics in Nanoscale Systems group was founded in October 2018. ICN2 is a member of the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) and el Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC).
